Day of the Week by River Colour
The above is a photograph of the River Tame which runs through the Works grounds, from its colour we can tell the day of the week:
- Sundays it is fairly clear;
- Mondays it is mud colour;
- Tuesdays red;
- Wednesdays brown;
- Thursdays black;
- Fridays we cannot describe the colour in clean English;
It also has another virtue, it is an excellent salmon river, we catch them already tinned.
